Narrow Chute on a wide PPC

I recently bought a PPC and didn’t realize that it’s a narrow cruiser 550 chute on a wide trike. Has anyone have experience with this? Did it climb and turn ok? Maybe I can find someone with the opposite problem who wants to trade.

what make/model is the ppc?

It’s a Destiny XLT. I have been told by someone I respect that this is OK to fly.

Rob, If it were really safe, Apco would offer it for both attach systems.
I would not do it. Rigging is different
Risers are longer on a narrow, and I’m using powrachute info. If it’s another brand, a total unknown. The pilot will be a real test pilot. It may work in ideal conditions, but if things go south, winds come up or other issues I have had happen myself, and what I’ve seen happen to other ppc pilots, you could be in a non recoverable situation. I would like to know who said it’s OK, you can send to me privately if you like. I’ve been in this sport for 31 years. I don’t want to see anyone injured when it was preventable.

It sounds like I should sell the narrow chute and buy a wide one. I am kind of bummed I didn’t realize the PPC had the wrong chute when I bought it. But I want to do everything I can to be safe. thanks.
