Continuing the discussion from Member introduction: I’m currently flying a 2004 Infinity two seater with a 582 Rotax which serves me well. Really enjoy the wide openess since the front bars were not required so was removed. Real seat of your pants flying. I’ve belonged to a ppc club here in Maine for approximately 18 years with a great group of pilots. The club has many fly- ins which take us all over Maine and some parts of New Hampshire. We are very fortunate to have a DPE as well as a CFI as part of our club. Many of my hobbies have waned over the years but flying these aircrafts are real enjoyment and hope to continue for years to come.

I’ve heard a lot about the club in Maine. Very fortunate to have so many resources absolutely.
People out here in the west have crossed multiple states to get to a CFI 
The Utah group at Cedar Valley airport is a good crew, with multiple events each year.
I think your DPE is probably the guy who did my check-ride last year. John? I’m in NH.

Sounds like John. Where there are very few DPEs in our whole country we are very lucky to have him. I know John travels doing check rides. Congratulations on getting your ticket!
